I'm having a little trouble instaling Windows 98 SE...I put in the EBD and it boots to that. but I can't get any farther to actually install the OS itself from cd?...anyone

Why don't you try installing Vitual PC 2007? You will have W98 SE running as a guest OS in your Host OS. It works for me pretty well.

I have 98SE and it is an upgrade disc that requires a previous Windows to be there. I have used Windows 3.1 (still have the floppies) for this purpose and it works. Can you find an old copy of Windows to put on there first?

It depends if your Windows 98SE is an upgrade or a full install. My disc happens to be an upgrade disc.
