okay. heres the deal. to start off, im 15 years old. i want to become a computer programmer, designer, etc. but of course im a newbie. i need info on how to start off. the basics, and eventually, the advanced. if anyone is willing to help, knows of any websites that contains documents i can download to my comp. let me know. contact me. but before i give my email out. i also have another problem. i was using limewire. and yeah. i know how to be safe with it. but one night, i was sort a sleepy. and i accdently clicked the wrong file. it was an exe. and i imediately cancelled it. SOME HOW> it managed to get a trojan horse on my computer. my firewall quarantined some of the files. but not all of them. on top of that. they havent been deleted because ive yet to recieve my virus definitions files to delete the infected files. and now... im wondering if its fucking up my registry, because i just recently today tried to install a windows theme. and it directed me to a website that explained that my computer couldnt install it because of the registry files. then it directed me to a free registry check. and this is where im flippin out. says there is 551 problems with my system registry. im like OMG what does tht mean. and on top of that. i need to purchase this registry scanners software in order to repair my registry... all of the 551 errors detected. i need serious help. possibly instructions on how to manually delete this shit from my computer. i love computers, and i DEFINATELY love mine. anbd this is killing me. performance has not been screwy. my computer(laptop) is actually pretty fast. but this isnt gonna slide. i need help. both with learning about computers, designing. and taking this shit off. oh, and i forgot. my fire wall also detected adware c-push. but it quarantined all of it. but idk what to do. and i want to fix this asap. so anyone. if you will kindly set some time aside and spit me some knowladge. id appreciate it fully.

If you really want to become a pc expert. It's pretty tough but can be accomplished if willing is present. My best advice would be: READ as much as you can and you'll get the necessary knowledge.

First off, go here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com (it's free). Use the Java kernel as it's better. Let it scan your system and clean it for you. What antivirus are you running?

might want to focus on that writing. Just saying.

Bragging that your reading is at "collage" level is not impressive. Less so when one reads the rest of what you wrote.

Did they quit teaching reading and writing in grade school or something? Every college graduate I know writes like this fellow.

After years and years of experience debugging systems loaded with malware for many people, my standard reply now is
R&R. Reformat and Reinstall. That is the only way you can be 100% positive that your system is clean. The time saved alone is worth it. You can spend days scanning and debugging and you still may have some nasty root kit hidden away in the recesses of your registry waiting to open the door again.

I'm not surprised that you have alot of registry bugs. I had about 2000 the first time I cleaned out mine with Registry Mechanic, but that was mainly broken links from uninstalled programs. Most programs don't get rid of their registry entries when they uninstall in case you reinstall the program, that way you can continue where you left off in the program with some of your settings intact.
