A friend asked me to look @ their lappy that has been running V E R Y S L O W L Y for the little while ( 2 - 3 years)... anyways, it's a P3 450 256M ram 12G HDD... Windows XP Pro SP-2... anyways, XP shows that it is running @ 228Mhz instead of 450Mhz... anyone know how to get into the BIOS & how I can change the speed to where it should be running? I tried Googling the model # PS426C-3N152 & couldn't find anything about getting into the bios... the only option during bootup is F2 for choosing the boot device...

I have a friend who has a Toshiba and I got to bios once. I think I just hit F5, F1 and/or ESC and one of them finally got me there. Just can't remember which one.
I would just boot and try each one until you get there.
