All prices are for the US only but I will ship them anywhere if you pay the difference in shipping or any fees that can't be avoided.
I'll leave these on here til Saturday and what doesn't sell is going on Ebay. Obviously this includes the 4peeps discount (if you're a member)

Are you dealing hardware now? Is that a business? Just wondering. Darn, I wish I could get one or two for myself dude.

Just curious as to why you're bailing out on the nForce2 boards, Nate.

Are you selling them for the "cheapest on pricewatch" listing or are you just telling us thats how much they are on pricewatch and then you going to give a price?

lol

No, I am not "dealing hardware". Just have these ordered and decided I don't want them. That's why I'm selling them. And instead of getting hit with restocking etc. I figured I'd list them on here cheaper than you can buy them anywhere else. I won't lose as much on them and someone can save a couple bucks at the same time.

I'm not totally bailing but I've been waiting for a certain board to come out (see sig) and it's available now.
Like Jason said, I listed prices above.

OK.
What's been fixed/changed in the 1.2 rev of the NF7-S? I'd go look on Abit's site, but it's been flaky lately. Also, I'm lazy and if you just tell me I won't have to figure it out for myself.

It's mainly higher voltage options. And supposedly a newer revision of the chipset (A3 compared to A2)
http://www.excaliberpc.com/product_info.ph...products_id=866 And it's orange.
The only mention of it you'll find on Abits site is in the latest bios version (15)

I just got the boards delivered. The Abit is version 1.1 It has the 4 holes and the undervoltage is supposed to be fixed. With version 1.0 it doesn't supply what you have it set at in the bios.

does the Asus A7N8X Deluxe not have those options? My friends are all Overclocking crazy and have informed me that this board has everyting you could imagine relating to O/C Bios settings.....
I know you like ABIT and I am not bashing it, just curious

I don't really know anything about the ASUS'. From what I've read the voltage only goes to 1.8 or 1.85 but I'm not sure.

I'll check on mine and let you know. Of course, I'll have to put an official BIOS back on it, first.
How far are you going to push your processors that you need more than 1.85, Nate?

Feb 19 2003, 03:44 PM
Cool, thanks. What about the one you have on it now? And what all does it change? I thought I read it just unlocked the Barton's.

I really don't know Don. I just want to have the option available if I need it.

It does unlock Bartons as far as I know, I just don't have one to test that on.
I don't know if they changed anything else, though, because I haven't looked at the official 1002 version of the BIOS from Asus. The Uber1002-SATA BIOS is based on beta 6 of the 1002. If I bookmarked the site where I got the BIOS from I'll throw that link up with the voltage range.

I don't think that's necessary. As soon as I get these sold it'll be the end of my selling spree.
The new Abit is sold.

OK, Nate, here are the VCore voltages available on the A7N8X Deluxe (which ought to be the same for the A7N8X non-Deluxe):
1.850
1.825
1.800
1.775
1.750
That's on the modded version of a beta BIOS. I haven't put the final version of 1002 on, but I'll bet it adds VCore options to get down to 1.600.
ntruax
Feb 19 2003, 08:42 PM
OK thanks. Do you know what the actual Vcore is? Like with these NF7's when you have it set to 1.85 you only actually get from about 1.78-1.81.

Feb 19 2003, 08:44 PM
Mine's set at 1.75 and I'm getting 1.78. I haven't tried setting it higher because I have no need.

Abit makes a big deal out of their three and four phase power supply on their boards. I'm kind of surprised that your voltage would be under by that much.

Needless to say they're not for sale anymore.
