Tonight I went swimming, pulled off 10 laps and I was like fainting, but I came to relise how athletic and fun the sport is.
It's nice to get out away from the computer once in a while, see that society exsists outside of my screen.
Sometimes I wonder if maybe I should just back off from computers (I mean, say cut my usage down to 2 hours a day), find new hobbies, more social stuff, focus on education etc...
thinking outloud here...

That's just the Matrix, Technik. It's got you fooledinto thinking tht there's something to life besides sitting behind a keyboard and staring at a monitor. Don't you see, all that moving around and being active just feeds it more energy! How can we defeat the Matrix with you supplying all that power to it!
On a serious note, well, sorta serious anyway, I have a weight bench, a set of weights, and a recumbent (semi-reclined riding posture) exercise bike that my wife makes me use at least five times a week so I won't die of a heart attack or a stroke or something else related to sitting on my ass for 10 - 16 hours a day.

Do not make computers your life, career yes, but don't fill all your spare time up with them.
Go explore the world

Yeah, swimming is a great sport, I really like it. Just a year ago I was afraid to put my face in the water, now I dive and touch the bottom of the pool.

Here in the north east we make maple syrup from the sap of the maple tree. I tap over 1k of trees on pipeline that runs through the woods. The mainline is over 1/4 mile long up the monutain. Right now i am repairing pipeline and hanging taps that will be drilled into the trees. I will post pictures when we start boiling sap probably in about two or three weeks. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup worth about 35 dollars retail. If this is a good year and so far it looks real good i will produce 100 to 150 gallons of finished syrup. On the scale of things i am a tiny producer, there are producers that will tap upwards of 40k trees and buy sap besides.
