Ok all, I just spent the last few hours looking around for this information and I am fried.

I got my XboX modded and it is running XBMC and the EvoX dashboard. I went out and found a M$ Wireless G adapter for the XboX. I can not get the modded XboX on the wireless network. I have all security disabled and the SSID is broadcasting and still nothing. I can't ping it from my computer. I have tried setting up the EvoDashboard using a Static and DHCP assigned IP and can't ping it either way.

Anyone have any knowledge of how to do this? I've been to xbox-scene, the afterdawn forums, pretty much everywhere and they all state that the M$ adapter will work w/ a modded XboX but I just can't seem to smack it into shape here.

Ok, figured it out. The 'software' that was installed on the modded box was installed in-correctly. Found a lovely ISO 'all in one' installer on a torrent site that wiped out all the modded software are re formated the drive and installed everything for me and now it works.

If anyone else out there is having a problem. Do a search for "Slayers Evox 2.7 Final". Burn it to a CD, slap it into your XboX and choose one of the options (upgrade/reformat/whatever) and away you go.

What an absolute joy the XboX media center is. I am now streaming all my movies from my computer to my TV with it. No need to burn or create DVDs any more. All my MP3s are accessible, as well as pictures. I can even watch Apple Movie trailers online via the XBMC.

If you've got an old XboX laying around, do yourself a favor and get that sucker modded!!!
