No problem, Coz. Always happy to help a brother out. Yeah, I have a really good buddy who is a sharp person like yourself who runs into no end of problems with his PCs. He even took one of those certified repair courses and was actually its top graduate. The down side was if he didn't have bad luck with computers he wouldn't have any luck at all. That and coupled with the fact that he had "bad" computer "Mojo" he usually couldn't find/figure out what was wrong with his comp. He swore up and down that all I had to do was just "look" at his computer and it would start working properly. Bugged him no end.

On the other hand, he had built maybe two comps in his life while I had built maybe somewhere between 700 and 1000. Don't get me wrong, I still don't consider myself an expert however I do think I was lucky to be blessed with "problem solving" skills vis a vis computers, to wit: I don't panic when shit happens and I always believe that there is a solution and use "logic" and the process of elimination to find solutions. Since I'm a slow learner my skills were very hard won and hence I've remembered them.
