Tom's Birth Place is in Milan OH. About 60 mi. from where I live. We've visted quite a few times when my boys were growing up.

CBC radio just had a blurb on Edison the other day. It focused on his "pushing" of the DC power and of his saying how dangerous A/C power was. He was a grade A creep who paid neighbourhood kids cash to round up stray cats with which he used to demonstrate A/C's dangerous by killing the cats with A/C electricity. Not a very nice person at all. Genius yes, maybe. Total creep; proven.
