Mister 4x4
Props to ya.

All I can offer is advice to the elderly:
- never pass up an opportunity to pee
- never waste an erection
- never trust a fart

You will one day... I find it's always better to be forewarned than blindsided.

Dead on.

I recall a number of years ago (15 years thereabouts, as it was the weekend just before my father died); a couple chums and I were teasing a fourth buddy and laughing about what he was describing.

He was describing a physiological condition to do with male aging.

Ironically, a couple of years later I know I started experiencing the same situation.

What I learned from that:
1.) Never mock someone else with a common condition; more than likely you'll also get it.
2.) Age affects us all and things change (unless of course the predictable happens earlier than it should.) For the most part it ISN'T for the better if it has to do with aging and anatomy.
3.) As a general rule try to always speak with soft words for you never know when you are going to have to eat them.
4.) Try not to participate in "mob mentality" even with friends. More than likely the tables will be turned later on.
5.) The greater empathy for others you exhibit, the more likely you'll be treated fairly and the more at ease with yourself you will be.

I'm a slow learner, it took me a while to figure this out but once in....... never out. icon_smile.gif

P.S.: This IS NOT directed at anyone, it is just my observations that have been hard won.

Completely agree Burner, as I've said, you're a real mentor. I've learned a lot more than you'd think. Thanks for your wise words. Nicely put. thumbup1.gif
Mister 4x4
Why did I just get this sudden image of Bart sitting on a pillow wearing basically a toga dispensing wisdom to those who can make the journey?

(I think I might need a drink or maybe some therapy after mentally picturing Bart in a toga, but that's a separate issue I'll deal with soon enough) icon_eek.gif
the_burner
LOL@ Eric. Bad news for you. Ha ha ha. Take the therapy soonest. cocky.gif
