I got a 5 pack of Verbatim CDRW's... and I must say there crap... way to easy to scratch and one lil scratch fuckes them up... my old HP and Plextor cdrws that came with my burners ar still good and running perfect....
Heed my warrny... dont get the Verbatim CDRW 12X long life ones...

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to scratch them so soon after getting them?

nothing abnormal... I use cases for all my cd's... my burners have never made marks on cd's before...
I think they are made with REALLY soft cheap plastic....

Thats kidna bad, to be honest, I use whatever is on sale, and I have these, and love them. HI-VAL or something, the CD cover is simple enuff, nothign fancy, right good, and dont scratch easy + they wuz cheap!

well I don't know if it "was" the burrner... but I have no idea what made them... all I know is that I have had and still have no problem with any other cd /cdrw but these....
ya these crab holes have a red cover, called datalifeplus (high speed)...

I bought a spindle of 50CD-R's back after xmas for $10. They work fine for me, other than the first time you burn on them they only burn at 32X, after that you can then bump the speed to 48X

I had some fujifilm platinum CDR's were really awesome, very nice burns... though for CDRW's... what would you recommand? I mean is their really a top brand?

I have always used memorex and have had excellent luck with them. Plus, the price is not to darn bad.

I like Imation and memorex for RW, CD-R I buy spindles of whatever is free after rebate, after 1500 free disks I've never had a problem.

Breast Buy, Staples....all those type places will run packs of cdrs for a set price and you get it all back in a rebate. That is how they suck you in. :wink:

Ive herd numerous complaints and had a problem with Verbatim disk myself, with this in mind Im gonna agree with MC.....they blow.
All my important stuff (pictures of Ace naked

) are on Maxell CD-R Data Black.

i buy em bulk... online. I got 500 CD-R's for 15 bucks and 100 CDRW's that are GREAT for 20.
