Guess what!!! When I RMA'ed my stuff back at newegg.com, they sent me back the wrong cpu!! I ordered an AMD Athlon XP T-Bred and they sent back a Palomino, so.. i wrote them an email and told them, and they gave me a refund so I'm going to send back my 1,800, add 15 dollars, and get a 2,100 AMD Athlon XP T-Bred (B)

Is it going into the A7V133? If so, i don't think they can handle the tbreds. AFAIK, they can only handle XP cpu's from a certain revision of teh board. Good luck either way, they are a sweet cpu. i am getting another 1 or 2 soon

I've got to RMA my ASUS A7V133C, I think it's got problems. This morning it wouldn't even turn on. So I dropped my old giga-byte back in and it works fine. I think the Asus has heat problems too. Even at the default 100MHzX10 it was running really hot, 40-45C. On my giga-byte even under load it's not getting over 39C.

Remember, you don't really need to overclock this as nothing would use the extra speed (yet).
