I read a post earlier on Neowin.net about the speech Bush is going to make tonight & how is "supposedly" going to announce that the U.S. has Saddam in custody (with links to the info also). Now, the site is COMPLETELY down/unoperational.... What do you guys think?

Not likely, just rumors. Like the rumors we have bin laden in custody.

He'll probably make references to the guy that was captured in Pakistan and all the intelligence they've picked up from his stuff.

Then, he'll beat the war drum some more about how the U.S. is going to have to go it alone when (not if) ole Georgie decides he's tired of waiting. Dad's not getting any younger, you know. :wink:

He'll probably throw in a mention about how we aren't going to be intimidated by North Korea and their attempts to blackmail the U.S. by threatening to start weapons research again and firing up the reactors to create weapons grade plutonium.

Somewhere in there will be a mention of all Americans making sacrifices for the common good and being strong in these worrisome times, blah blah blah. He'll want Congress to pass his deficit-laden budget that cuts into almost every social service program while setting new records for military spending. His father must be so proud...

He will also throw in a bit about how his 'economic stimulous package' needs to be passed, despite the fact that none of his previous packages (which have all been structured in basically the same manner) have done anything to help the economy, other than drop us into a new era of deficit spending with no concern for how all this crap is going to be paid for!

Neowin went down due to a remove letter from MS (they had made a download of a MS file, instead of a link to the MS download site) that was sent to their ISP, who choose to shut down the whole site, rather then block the 2 offening pages or notify Neowin to remove them. the site has now been restored (well, mostly)
However, if they choose to post a false story perhaps they should have stayed down.
The US will not kidnap Sddam before declaration of war (either by the US or the UN) as that would be a crimmnal action under international law.

YOU have all forgoten what those bastards did to us. Its time to put a stop to their ass NOW. Bush told the American people that this would be a long dirty deal (ridding world of terrorisum) . Every one was all for it when they first watched trade center buildings hit the ground on TV for the first time. But now that the terror and excitment has worn off, you all dont have the stomach to deal with the possiblity of war. Sometimes the American people make me embarrased to admit that I am one.
