Digital cameras have powers beyond what is immediately available to the user. On a standard Canon, for example, the fastest shutter speed option offered is 1/1,600 second, but the hardware can handle much more than that -- up to 1/60,000 of a second.

That is pretty cool. I love 'hacking' stuff. Luckily my brand-spanking-new digital camera (SD1000) is on the list. I am going to have to give this a whirl.

Odd. The Wiki says my camera is supported, but then when I go to the download page I don't see any firmware for a SD1000.

Here's an idea, Coz. If you take risks, there are both failures and rewards. You'll have failures others won't because they're NOT willing to take risks and you'll have rewards for the same reason. It all comes out in the wash; and your attitude towards the results. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
