I just installed NFS:Pro Street and tried to play...

Has my 9800Pro met it's match? I had the graphics stripped down and it was dragging HARD!! Is there something else I can do or is it time to start saving my pennies? shocking.gif

I have the latest drivers. I turned all the video to it's lowest possible settings and it is playable, weak but playable.

I think it just may be time to save my pennies and upgrade if I wanna play the new games. icon_cry.gif

Doens't that basically mean, in AMD terms...an XP2800+ or better?

Yeah, I have an XP64 4000+ and it's like 2.3ish.

Any ideas what to get as an upgrade?

Sense all you have is an AGP slot, I wouldnt upgrade till you can get a board....but if you must.

Interesting. I am just not sure which direction I want to go. I would love to upgrade the whole nine yards, but that is just not in the cards right now.
