I've been using Ad-Aware and Spybot SD, and Spyware Blaster forever, but with no realtime protection on my PC and both of my sons PCs. One of my sons keeps getting infected and reinfected. I downloaded Spyware Terminator and it did a great job, cleaning and I'm using the real time protection on it now.

Question is has AdAware and SpyBot out lived their usefulness?

MBF - use Spybot SD, did use Ad-Aware, but smaller, older version (lost it in an upgrade) and not able to find again-newer version, more cumbersome and slower. Spybot works well-no difficulties yet. Thanks for the added info-will check out Spyware Terminator when needed.

Ray, I only use Windows Defender and Avast Pro, together they stop everything.
