I found this locally on craigslist, and my good friend bought it. It's a driver, 327ci, automatic. Needs a lot of TLC, but he'll drive it all summer before starting on it.

Nice car for sure and what Pap said. 1st thing, good insurance, 2nd thing: the best tune up for fuel efficiency possible.

You don't buy a car like that for gas mileage.
Which is what I tell people that wince when I mention the Jeep only gets around 6 mpg.

Nice car .... sorry fuel is so expensive-still, would consider this just to own, and work on, with the hope that fuel prices will alter downward. It may be the time to start looking for the most fuel consuming motor homes at this time-perhaps, just a few miles per gallon. Nice to find a very new, repo, with everthing possible in it-just to park, and use as a few extra rooms with a bathroom-perhaps, deductable as a second home too-tax incentive?
