Nice find, Charles. Thanks man. icon_smile.gif

Good tip. Rice in salt, black pepper, chili powder, et al. will help to keep things nice and non lumpy. Thanks for the reminder, Snuffy.

BTW, a similar plan is how to cook carp ... a nice soft pine board, put carp on same, then salt, and pepper, put on desired spices/lemon slices on top of fish, put it all in the oven at 350 degrees F/, take out plank, and fish after about 30 minutes ... toss fish far away, and eat great board! Old set-up from a furry uncle. icon_smile.gif

I use rice in my tumbler for cleaning brass when I'm reloading ammo.

Better process to save wet electronics:

dunk them in pure alcohol- rubbing alcohol will do in a pinch

get as much of the liquid as possible out. Change the alcohol. Dunk again. Rinse, lather, repeat. (You're flushing out any salts and such that the rainwater may have taken into the circuits)

shake out all the water you can- put the device on a cookie sheet in the oven at 150F. "Cook" for 2-3 hours.
