This from the guy that said: "I don't see why anyone would need more than half a MB (not GB) of RAM." Yur, okay Bill. icon_confused.gif

"We're hard at work, I would say, on the next version, which we call Windows 7. I'm very excited about the work being done there. The ability to be lower power, take less memory, be more efficient, and have lots more connections up to the mobile phone, so those scenarios connect up well to make it a great platform for the best gaming that can be done, to connect up to the thing being done out on the Internet, so that, for example, if you have two personal computers, that your files automatically are synchronized between them, and so you don't have a lot of work to move that data back and forth."

More baloney, er, info here. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks t_b-do like the idea of ..."if you have two personal computers, that your files automatically are synchronized between them, and so you don't have a lot of work to move that data back and forth." Yet, do agree with the point of thin sliced baloney too! Hope that continued improvements are successful, and advancements will have a positive effect-rather, than the difficulties with operating systems from the past. icon_smile.gif

Windows 2000 is marked as NT 5.0, XP as 5.1, and server 2003 as 5.2, so I take it Vista is the failed 6.0? It's almost as bad as Windows ME. Hopefully M$ fixed the crap.

Nothing was as bad as M.E. That one hopefully will have the crown forever.
