Logitech really is covering all the bases with its peripherals these days. The last Logitech product I reviewed was the MX Air Mouse and I thought that was a nifty bit of kit to control your home theater setup. The proverbial cake however has not just been taken; it’s been flaunted and eaten right in front of our starving faces.

I need one of these! I've got to use three remotes to watch a movie, lol

Don't bother. I thought that remote would be the 'end-all-be-all' of all in one remotes. So, I bought my aging grandmother one to use with her home entertainment system because I kept getting phone calls like "how do I turn on the TV, how do I watch a movie, how do I get the surround sound working".

The remote worked good when it worked. The rechargeable battery died in about a year. Called Logitech; sorry, we don't replace the battery you have to buy a new unit. I even looked online for a replacement battery to no avail.

I also bought one for my Mother and the same thing happened with her unit. It lasts about a year and then the battery won't recharge.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up, Mike. Nothing like getting doofed over twice by the same outfit. Ouch!

I was getting the same calls from my mother after I gave her a brand new JVC DVD player.

Even together with her tech challenged boyfriend, the two goofs couldn't figure out how to work multiple remotes.

Fecking phone calls Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and night.

Jesus Christ, read the freaking manual already. I ain't getting any $50 an hour to drive over to set it up for you every damn time.

They couldn't even follow instructions over the phone. I finally print out a step by step procedure for the tv, vcr, dvd player and had them do it five times AFTER I showed them how to do it a number of times.

It's like dealing with challenged children only the learners are crankier. Phooey. Freaking techno peasants. LOL.
