Went up to the Rubicon this weekend. Here are they pics of me and my dad. Im driving my "project" rig.

Some very nice photos-liked the guy with the black ears, and nose, along with the green bandana! A lot of rocks to go over, and the springs looked like they took it very well-the water photos were good ... not into mud that much, especially when it comes to cleaning afterwards. Again, nice pictures - looked good, especially the can of bud too! Thanks.

Man, you have no idea how tempting it is to not go all the time. Its only ah 1 hour or so drive away.

let me get my diesel swap done in the jeep and I might have to head that way in a year or two for vacation.

I'd bring fun things that go "bang", but the People's Republic of Kaliforniastan wouldn't approve...

I only went 'off roading' once in my 01 Dodge Dakota in the winter and promptly 'bottomed out' on a snow bank and had to call my buddy up with a tow truck and plow to get me out.

4WD pickup isn't exactly the same, nor is it built to REALLY go off road. I learned the hard way! LoL

Sorry, Coz, but I laughed like a loon at your exploits. If shit can happen, it seems it will happen to you; more or less. What I do admire is your honesty in telling us that this shit DOES happen to you with regularity. It reminds the rest of us that even "Superman" runs into problems.
