Hey mates, I have a little problem. Allow me to explain myself. Friend of mine has a kind of local informative site around here and asked me to help him with the administration. All is nice but one thing. He wants to use Joomla. I have the FTP name and password but when installing Joomla, it asks for the SQL db and throws and error. I have already put the joomla.sql inside the installation/sql folder but I still get same error. I would need any kind of advice and help. Thanks. thumbup1.gif

I have mySQL and EasyPHP installed but couldn't tell for sure if they're present in FTP. The error Joomla shows is "Unable to connect to SQL database". This is starting to upset me. I've tried a lot of thing without a successful result.
