I noticed, hardly a smile from anyone......hard times maybe?

My parents grew up during and went thru the Great Depression and Dirty Thirties and yes, I don't think it wasn't much fun.

Some very difficult times for families during that economic down turn. BTW, do consider all this present economic down turn avoidable. Unfortunately, almost a universal problem in most nations-Globalization is the lack of self-discipline-greed, and the ruthless disregard for people. Not really good Capitalists that kill off an entire population every so often for their "benefit" i.e., profit motive. A good farmer has, and works a farm for many years-he takes care and nurtures his crops, and many have bountiful harvests! Currently, we have the ability to produce enough food, and energy-for us, and others in the world, i.e., predicated on our natural resources already found in this continent for the next few hundred years for starters. Think some ass needs to be kicked! No question that there are more jobs available today than people to fill them. Idea of a depression, or downturn turn today-complete bull-chips, and avoidable!
