There are different kinds of Tostadas, with blacks beans and avocado mostly, there are also with meat accompanied with chesse, onion or whatever they want onto. There is also a special kind of Tostada called with "Curtido" it's like a kind of salad.

I somehow managed to forget dinner yesterday. Today we're having a casserole made with chicken breast, spinach, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and onion, with a sour cream-mayonnaise sauce and tons of fresh grated parmesan.

Nope...I got huge boneless breast at the butcher and had him cut a pocket into them. Stuffed them as full of broccoli and Swiss as I could manage, then sealed the flap with toothpicks before breading and baking.
I do quite a few different chicken dishes where I pound them, but not this time around.

Haven't had some roast beef for a time-all types of ways to cook-but, store stuff works well too! Side dishes are neat with this, and a little time to put it together-found a few photos that may give you a few thoughts for lunch, maybe a fast dinner.
For those into sodium counting, and fat-check out content scale listed for these creations!http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...l%3Den%26sa%3DN

Salt can be a big problem in foods for people, swollen feet, legs, hands, (Edema), or water retention-some need to deal within this issue because of their health, and being aware is good for all. Some physicians may prescribe a Diuretic, or water pill to help eliminate water from your system-best to take pill in morning, rather than walk all night to the bathroom! Found a nice little site from the UK that goes into this a bit, and may be helpful for some to check out. Did go through several sites-just type in "food salt" into Google for more hits, i.e., if into it more.

I have to check labels on everything or risk big problems due to food allergies. What a pain. No shellfish, no spud white no MSG, no red wine...... . Every label all the time. *sigh*
Tonight, sardines mixed with mayo, relish, mustard and Pace mild sauce. Steamed veggies with cheese perogies and sour cream. Yum.

I'm thinking leftover hot dogs and something to nuke on the side. Lemon-flavored Propel water is my evening staple as well (she buys me the 10-packs of Propel powder and I hit the R.O. water from the fridge).
I try not to eat large dinners anymore (if at all, actually) - something about sparking the metabolism in the morning and tapering off through the day into the evening seems to make sense to me. That, and it lowers the risk of sleeping with heartburn.

Did do Chinese food today with Ms Df-mainly vegetables, and a little Salmon too-good stuff. Below link may be worth a try-looks good and filling. Liked the part of using what you had instead of dumping out, or discarding the excess food products.
