Hey guys, I'm having a huge problem with my HD. It started doing some "clicking" sounds and all of a sudden it crashed. Do you think I might be able to recover at least some data? Thanks.
terabyte
Maybe. You might try freezing the drive and attach it as a secondary drive to another PC and copy everything off before it dies. Good luck with it!

You could try slaving it to another PC or put it in a external enclosure and let another PC try and read it.

I'll try to recover some data off HD. Weird thing is it crashed suddenly, if it had given some sort of "warning" I would've backed up at least the important data. Thanks for the replies.

I think I may not be able to do so Pap because every time I try to run HD, PC refuses to start up. At first I thought it was PSU but after a while I figured out it was HD. Any advices? Thanks.

Try putting the hard drive in a external usb enclosure, and then let another pc try to read it to recover your data.
