I would have to say yes to that.
I know you didn't say that. The reply was to not just your message. I find the paranoid ramblings to be funny. Some people sound like the conspiracy theorists.
I voted for McCain, even though I would have clawed my eyes and ears out listening to Palin for 4 years. I just think what's done is done and we need to just move on and give the guy a chance.
You know me - I'm fairly open-minded. I'm willing to give the guy a chance - seeings how we really have no choice, after all.
However, expect the trend of blasting the President and their administration for gaffes, poor decisions, bad policies, and broken promises to keep going steady. Day One, and Obama already clipped Nancy Reagan for holding seances (He's already apologized to her for his comments that were taken out of context by the media, but there it is - not the greatest of starts). Funny how the media has already kinda already started turning on him.
The big difference is that you'll be hearing these things coming from a different crowd - that's all. Believe it or not, there were people (a rather large portion) who did not 'suffer' under the Bush administration... I find it hard to believe that Obama will have such a drastic effect on increasing those numbers as he hopes - he'll simply exchange some who did well, for a small portion of those who did not. He'll punish the rich and probably help out more of the truly poor people than Bush did - however, I'm not optimistic that the middle class will enjoy any of the things he's promised - it's too easy to just leave that pot simmering when other more important things rise to the top.
So - we'll see. But after all the insults and disdain offered up for the Bush Administration, I think the Obama crowds are going to have to learn how to thicken up their skins - 'dishing it out, and being unable to take it' is really a poor character trait... and admittedly, one I love to prey on (like most people do).
