Honey Bees and Bee Hives! Need some honey in the morning for your toast? This is a very good way to have bee honey, and keep a few un-wanted guests out of your yard! A lot of fun, and and quite rewarding in terms of relaxation, and working in the fresh air, and sun outdoors a bit! Be careful they bite on occasion too! tongue_smilie.gif

lots and lots of bee farmers here.

If people are into honey, it is a good source of nutrition! If there are many bee farmers in your area, perhaps some of the stuff can be had for a good price? icon_smile.gif

BTW, the wax from bees is a great product for candles-so, if into making a few to experiment, this little site may help.

Funny that I can eat honey with no problems but I'm allergic to bee stings (and wasp/hornet stings.)

Thanks DF, this has always been interesting to me. I saw them being made at "Hales Farm and Village" a local working farm restored to a 19th Century edition.
