But J, I've tried about 7 of them and Norton is the most configurable of the ones I've seen AND (for me,) it does the fastest scans.

Of all the A.V.Ps I've used, N.A.V. has consistently caught everything that I've got, even and especially from burned CDs. icon_smile.gif I'll stick with it, thank-you, opinions to the contrary. icon_biggrin.gif
Dark
Norton, McAfee and Panda (not listed there) all of them suck...

Hey G, I've uninstalled it, ran other programs and they didn't do the job to the same level for me. Does it work for me? Damn straight. Will it work for every one else? How would I know? Each person circumstances, needs and wants are different. If something else works for them and they're happy, great for them. It's that simple, bud.

WhiteKloud

pappy177
norton , LOLPP , causes more problems than it fixes , ha ha ha.
search norton problems on google.
norton is a joke guys.
Dragonfly
pappy-did check out Google for Norton problems-currntly using 2003, and have Norton on three machines-one apparently hates it! So, took off the Internet security program, and the system check program-one button check-Presently, machine works fast/no freezes, seems fine now? Will experiment wit Nod 32, Avast, and perhaps, AVG. But, will proceed slowly, now have AdAware and Spybot-do have a few firewalls as well. Thank you.
