CompUSA has VS.NET Pro for $970. I didn't expect anyone to rush right out and buy it, but you might try registering a work-provided copy and see if you get a free PDA out of it. ViewSonic has a suggested retail price of $399 for the one you get through this deal.

If you go to your local Windows Server 2003/Visual Studio.NET 2003 launch event you should end up with at least one coupon good for a discount on VS.NET2K3. Our launch event in KC isn't until next Thursday, so I don't know yet what sort of swag they're handing out. I hope it's more than just a t-shirt.
