Apparently, highlighted in some recent studies-researchers found that fish protein for diabetics, was beneficial in terms of off-setting issues such as Kidney failure. More study in types of fish, matched up to the chemistry of the person was indicated. Eating fish twice a week seemed the norm in the finding.

That's great news. Thanks a lot, Df. I'll probably need that fish protein shortly. thumbup1.gif

Your welcome t_b. Unfortunately, stuff runs in the family, both children, and adults-I am the oldest, and the last hold out-just informed that I am predisposed, and am border line. So, now doing the diet, and the good news is it works for me, i.e., according to the lab's tests. Also, diet is good for my general health too-lost a few pounds. thumbup1.gif

I sure hope that I don't get Diabetes and I am sincerely sorry to hear about your family and your predisposition to Diabetes. Do what you can to guard your health and don't worry about the rest. I swear to God it's the worry that messes with us the most. Negative energy and a waste of good resources. Needless to say, I have a few genetic skeletons which I fervently hope that they decide to stay in the closet and not jump out to "gotcha" me later on. Currently minor cardiac issue, arthritis, A.D.D., acid reflux, allergies and general aches and pains. Nothing to keep a knucklehead like me down. face82.gif cocky.gif

t_b, diet helps to improve, and delay much of what you noted. Clearly, a good physician is worth their weight in Portobello Mushrooms, and should be checked out as well for some of the new, and improved medications-less toxic today than in the past. . "I swear to God it's the worry that messes with us the most. Negative energy and a waste of good resources." t_b. Yes, on the button-not much to do but the best one can, after that, negative waves need to be dropped/canned! Your activity at work keeps your body in tune for the most part. But, having a positive out-look to me is the key. Have fun. thumbup1.gif
