I installed Nero after my wipe and re-install of Xp on C:\. Seems that this install of Nero doesn't like something (it initializes, but won't give me the second menu after I click "create a data DVD, it just sits in the system tray, doesn't crash, per se.) and I don't have time to pi$$ about figuring out what. I had to burn some software and files and Free Easy Burner looked like a good choice. Due to circumstances, my second drive (D:\) which is a 160GB drive is only read as 149GB in the BIOS and 128GB in Windows Xp Pro SP2.

Now here is where it gets interesting. Because of the way LBA is working in my situation, when I went to burn the DVD I rec'd the same two errors: LBA error, out of range or some such sh!t. Any who, the easy workaround was to transfer the files/folders to E:\ drive (extended partition of first and C:\ drive) and bingo, bango, bongo; burned at 16x without a hitch and in no time flat.

So, why am I telling all y'all this? Because I don't want anyone that is using Xp pro and a second drive to get burned with Windows addressing issues. I also realize that most of you rascals probably will never run into this is. Therefore this is more a point of reference and caution than a "you're going to run into this also" scenario. Cheers.
