Are there any tweaks for DSL that actually work/make a difference that you can see??

change the MTU to 1500....

If you installed XP or 2000 with networking support, then the MTU is already at 1500.

XP is self tuning... leave it the hell alone and do NOT install the latest security updates as they KILL performance

Bull, you had dial-up forever, now you are not satisfied with DSL... LOL

Everyone want's to squeeze an extra 20K out out a 2Mbit connection with tweaks...

You want faster DSL, hack into your IPS's NOC and turn up your quality of service (Speed)

Or just be happy with your kickass speed right now!

I am very happy with my dsl, but like troll said, nothing wrong with trying to squeeze out every last drop. :wink:

Plus, they teased me with the 1K down/1K up in the beginning. Now I get what I pay for, which is cool.

I still can't even come close to getting broadband here. Hell there isn't even cable TV.

I can't wait till I go to college this fall and I get network access. They might be able to plug Kazaa, but they can't stop me on IRC and FTP servers@! MUWHAHAHAH!!!
