has anyone had any experience with the sunon magnetic levitation fans?

being magnetically levitated im guessing there will be less noise? and are there any places selling em at a nice price?

there is nothing really special, usually most magnetic fans are "levitaion" fans...its just a fancy way of calling a fan more than a fan...

I believe it means that once the fan is spinnig it will be free floating.
No conntact, no friction, less noise.
I think. Well not exactly free floating...... ignore me. Im rambling now.

yes, free floating basically...magnetic...held in place by a pin...same with most dc brushless fans...

If they are any thing like the YS tech magnetic tip fans... then they also let more air pass... making the dead zone smaller...

the YS TECH fans have not even shipped...and the frst size will be for P4 HFS...followed by AMD sized fans for Heatsinks, and then 70mm fans...so i dont know what they will be used for, cause 80mm is inductry standard....
dont get your hopes up...

so, there really isnt anything special about em.... ah, i guess im just one to fall for those marketers (even though i study marketing myself) *gulp*...
well then, recommend a good quiet affordable fan to me people

i like panaflo's...
but any high quality fan will do the trick...
