Is anyone using temp monitors on their cases with probes for the cpu etc, or do you use some software solution?

But what about us folks who don't have Via chipsets?? I (and I think the goor_dr) have the ECS K7S5A w/ the SiS 735 chipset.

The white Senfu LCD was $25, all it does is display the temperature using a probe (currently measuring only case temp)

The 16x2 LCD screen cost about $25 to make. Using 2 programs called Motherboard Monitor and LCD Smartie this can be made to display CPU temp, MB temp, Fan speed etc.

how easy is that to do? i think i might try it out...

nah ill just stick to my PC Alert progi, siff im gonna bother about temps when computer is off. heheheh
