Hi peeps can you please post the highest multiplier you got for your unlocked XP. Board make and chipset and default frequency of chip would be greatly appreciated.
I've got an 1700+ on a soltek DRV4 and I can only get 11.5 I saw at the soltek site that the max multiplier from the dips is 12.5 (for a KT266A). Any ideas for a mobo upgrade

You have a few choices out there for overclocking. There are aBit boards, Asus, and Soyo for overclockability.
Check out their sites for info on boards.

Shuttle makes some good boards for OCing, I have a AK11 v3.2, multiplier goes to 14 and FSB to 166MHz 1 at a time. Stable board, with any make be sure you have the latest BIOS, the updates sometimes update some tweakers in them.

have you actually got the multiplier up that high because my current board recons it has a multiplier of 14 too, but it just won't work oh yeah the fsb goes up to 200 (2 x 200) in 1 mhz steps on my current board SL-DRV4 :P
