I'll try to keep this short:
1. Yes I read the stick, however it doesn't answer my questions.
2. I have a webspace right now that has another website currently hosted on it, can I create a new folder (and then procede to place all the PHP Nuke files within it) root level folder of the FTP for just Php Nuke and expect both the non-phpnuke site and the new nuke portal to work?
3. After reading the install faq that comes with the Nuke files, it told me I need the following running on my server:
QUOTE
Base Requirements
-----------------
In order to setup PHP-Nuke the folowing prerequisits are necessary.
- A Linux Box (http://www.linux.com) Installed and working properly.

Will installing the above components conflict with the other site that is hosted on the same FTP? Where on the FTP should I install these programs? Is this something my server hosting company should know about prior to me playing around with their servers?
4. Last but not least, there appears to be several different versions Apache Web Server, PHP, MySQL database etc., which one of these versions is best for phpnuke, and is there a site dedicated on how to install these programs, as I am [bVERY new on how to preform such a task. (I've managed phpnuke sites in the past, however that was once all the nuts and bolts were up and running.)
I guess that fairly wraps up everything, this noob just doesn't want to mess up the existing site, if only I can get a few pointers before I start to wreck havok.
Many thanks are in order ahead of time,
Paul
(Php-Nuke) Newbie (Hey if you can teach it, I can learn it though.)
