You seem be correct. It could be simply a scheduled maintenance check. I hope that nothing is truly wrong up in BC. I hope that no one has stooped to unsavory methods to voice their opinions. None of the ex-members here would do such a thing, but there are misguided individuals out there. With all of the acrimony, I still have fond memories of the place, and for the friends that I met there. I wish no ill upon anyone there, and if I may be so bold, the other TTZ'ers here would probably feel the same way.

I'd guess it's the usual problems the place has lately. I believe the server is at Rack Shack in Texas.

Exactly. I've been tracking the problem, keeping a list of the times it occurs, for over a week now, and Kanthas has been in contact with them to see WTF is going on.

And as a side note...I truly hope you're not all EX members. But if that's how it is, I guess then so be it.

That may be how it is, we shall see. I also do not wish anything untoward on the people there, or that someone has acted in a terribly stupid fashion. This is a business, not a playground. Behaviour like that is just NOT acceptable. Period.

Okay... let's not make this personal. Felix if it is - it is. Only time will tell, and what was said in the TTZ bar was meant. Think of this as a possible new beginning.

Wasn't making anything personal, actually. It seems I have to remember that everything I say recently will be taken out of context. Of course, I'm not nearly as clear lately as I used to be, so I guess I should expect that.

I don't care if people come here. Heck, I've been a member here longer than the lot of you, except B., who joined a couple of days before I did last summer. I just hope you're not all jumping ship is all.

I must say this site loads much faster on my poor old 56k connection, and I almost went blind reading old posts last night. I've made a couple of mistakes. I tried to delete a post I put in the wrong place but couldn't fine a way to do it. I did pick up some new links and ideas. Seems to be some good ideas floating around here.

Well, for those of you who haven't decided to leave TTZ completely, RackShack finally has us back up and running. Albeit slow as HELL.

Or....not. I got in for a second, long enough to post in the admin/mod forum that there were problems again, and now it's stalled again, not even giving me the standard "page cannot be displayed" error.

I have not left TTZ as such - I just need a new place which is untainted in which to hangout and chill with likeminded people.

Besides there are still a lot of people over there I consider friends - although a lot more are migrating over here daily!
