I think respect is most important. With true respect comes honesty and an unconditional relationship. So to answer your question. Respect, honesty and forgiveness.

I don't have friends, no need for qualities then. But if I did loyalty, honesty and humor would do.

Integrity <which includes honesty, IMO>, loyalty, and if not a sense of humour, the ability to appreciate my whacked-out one.
