I just want to know, since most forums have their "things".
Techno, or MEtal..etc..
I seem to like MEtal alot, if your anti metal, you probably think I an idiot. But I cant deny what I like. I think pop music is fake, like Briney;s boobs fake. It all written by someone else, and dont get me started on boy band....

I am a huge fan of 80's metal, but am getting a taste for some of the newer stuff. Anything but rap.
Remeber, you can't spell crap without rap.

Alot of 80s metal, and 60s-80s classic rock. A bit of country (not that CMT crap more like Blackhawk, Charlie Major, Alan Jackson). That just about sums it up!
Techno is my favorite. My favorite genres of techno are House, Happy Hardcore, and Trance.
I also listen to some alternative.
Occasionally I'll listen to Rap and Big Band.

I like a whole lot of different music, not just one or even a few types. Some of it includes Oldies, Progressive, Alternative, Metal, Classic Rock, Classical, Jazz.

Dunno about anybody else, but my list includes a wide variety of genre <genres? dunno the plural> as well.
Classic rock <60s to 80s>
Classical
Chicago Blues
Bayou Blues
Folk
Big Band <old school>
New "Big Band" <which is in quotes because it's NOT a big band any more, just sounds like one with electronics for the most part>
Some country
Some rap
Some new rock <90s to now>
Some metal
Some bubblegum pop a'la 50s and 60s
Some alternative
Some new age
Show tunes
Some techno
Some trance
Cannot stand opera or jazz. Especially the "new age" jazz. Anything else is fair game, and most likely to be found somewhere in my collection on at least a compilation CD if not an entire CD by the artist.

I have a smattering of everything, and I mean 'everything.' Everything from Alternative rock/metal, to classical, to '80s Pop/New Wave, to '90s Grunge, to industrial edge, to country, to instrumental New Age, and all the way back to Drum & Bugle Corps music.
My favorites generally fall into the '80s-90s Rock genre though. Some of the newer alternative metal stuff has become part of my anger management routine lately though.

Some select rap & hip hop in there, but very little as most of it falls deaf on me.

Almost just about anything. As long as it has a good beat to it I really do not care what it is. But I prefer rock, so I guess that answers the question.

I pretty much like about 90% of the stuff on Fuse's Power Rock, Uranium, Rockzilla, Number 1 countdown... and hate 75% (or more) of the shit they have decided to pollute MTV with - actually does MTV even play videos anymore?
http://www.fuse.tv/launcher.phpSo Alternative Rock, Metal and the like...
My wife... she LOVES country - and that's all I got to say about that...
