I am planning a trip in the coming new year....

I am going to Denamrk in July on the Scandinavian Airline which is recommend by a friend of mine.

And then a long distance trip to Canada and am not sure which I should go whether to go with the Air Canada or British Airways.....but BA won in the end as it provide a 747-400!! icon_biggrin.gif

So let me hear what is your fave airline and why? And which is the worse you ever flew with...

It would be easyJet for me as a worse airline which I flew to Glasgow recently!!

Air Canada good.
CP Air bad.
ShadyCanuck
air canada is in bankruptcy protection and is probably one of the more expensive options.

SAS is quite good, where in Denmark are you going?

I have had the best luck with United, but it seems every time I fly it is on American. icon_confused.gif

I prefer United...they're friendly, they don't give you endless $hit when you call just to find out prices without wanting to book, they're FAR closer to on time than any other airline I've flown, they go everywhere, their meals are still actually meals, it's easy to upgrade, they fly to small towns as well as large cities, I've never had to stop mid-flight and NOT change planes because they can't get that far for whatever reason, and their fares are just about the best I've found.

And, their theme music is Gershwin. And they sponsor the cool as hell "tunnel of neon" at Chicago O'Hare. icon_wink.gif

I prefer Continental for the Trans-Atlantic flights and to South America on their 767's. Their Business/First cabin is great. Singapore Airlines for the Trans-Pacific on their 747's. Domestic travel on Continental, Northwest or American.

Ah, nice, you gotta see the castle then! Our oldest standing castle...From 1150 or so, I think, is right there.

But Nyborg is not exactly flyable...Are you flying to Kastrup and then by train?

I usually fly Cathay Pacific or Air Canada, I think. I don't have any real complaints.

My friend and his family recently from England over here, and they totally raved about the service on Air Canada...good food...good service...and there was even ice cream for dessert icon_mrgreen.gif

No we are flying to Copenhagen and then train from the Airport to Nyborg. Going over the bridge over the sea is that right?

As i am trying to plan a trip to USA & Canada as well, Marc, I have come up against similar problems, though BA have nice planes and staff, they are more expensive, not much though, AA were about the same, not tried many more, but have a look at virgin of course, as well as KLM and a few others/

Myself and Princess will be flying Iceland Air next year on our trip - fairly cheap as well!

Never used them before so hopefully they will be ok! I have a friend who swears by them!

Yup, that's what I thought...And you'll cross the bridge, it's nice too...Not the prettiest, but it sure is big.
