Ok! The song is about a flower girl selling fake flowers on the street, posies I think, and eventually she starves/freezes to death and ends wither her in heaven selling real flowers. The song is an oldie not sure from what decade though. It is also a rather upbeat song. And the only lyric that I can remember goes something like this "...now shes selling real posies in heaven..."
If anyone can tell me the name of this song I would be imensely happy and thankful!

Damn, I looked everywhere and no go. Even my wife was no help and she is the music master. 
Don't have time to search about at the mo', but your description rings a bell. Something to do with selling matches on the street??
Is it a rock song, or a fast paced easy rock song? Does it sound modern, or does it have an 80s hairband style to it?
