Puked with delight when my friend told me he was going to surprise the new woman in his life at work with flowers!! That is so sweeeeeet!!

I installed a 24-node LAN. Latest gear: optical to T3 line. Sweetly FAST.

Got up, fell down, got up again, realised very quickly that all my joints and face felt like I've been hit by a bus, fell back to bed, decided to take the day off sick, slept till midday, got up, had a cup of tea, threw up, started to get annoyed but realised that I couldn't be bothered, sat and watched a movie whilst trying to sweat out this feckin' flu bug that's been pissing me off for a few days.

I haven't a shred of energy all day, and now my arse is numb because I've been using it all day to sit on. I hate being ill.

Went to work twice today. What a PITA. And B.S.

Got a lot of my blog software working. I can select a date and post and display entries. Still have a lot of this left to do. A delete button, A FilterBy function, a user admin page and forms security. But at least it works enough that you can see the basic functionality.

Woken up by the Alarm Clock this time.....and to find Harvey snoozing away at the foot of bed......tempt to poke him awake as revenge but he woken before my attempt.

Went to work as usual......sat and working out the assignment.....

Woke up, ate Crunchy nut cornflakes, went to work, so far set up a MFD and about to set up a couple more blackberry's and update a few PC's, nice easy day for me

I take it the MFD refers to a Multi Function Device and not the rude thing I was thinking about.

Placed an order for a tripod, 2 light stands and a light disc holder. I love getting things below dealer cost.

For the past 2 hours I have been stacking old computers, monitors, printers and peripherals near the front door of the office so I can load them into 2 (yes, 2 truck loads) trucks tomorrow for the annual electronics recycling. Kind of a shame as some of this stuff still works fine but we have neither the time nor the manpower to get it into shape for donating. I'll take a pict - it's a pretty impressive pile!

P.S. At $10 per monitor and $5 per system/printer/fax machine we are looking at about $400 to recycle this crap!!!

Added a delete button with confirmation pop-up to my blog along with a date range filter. Now I'm going to study SQL and ponder what I have left on my blog. Also looked into some cheap hosting. Hopefully it will be good as it offers 10 mySQL databases for 55 a year. With what I plan on doing I'll need at least 3 or 4. Maybe more as time goes on.

Went to work, went to dance class. Feel wired but gotta get up early to go to the gym.

Traipsed down to London to check out the Boss' new office so I know where to put phones etc. 4 hours wasted for 25 minutes work.

nearly got t-boned by an idiot bluehair on the way in to work. The light was blatantly green and had been for seconds, and she comes blazing through in her landyacht, not even attempting to brake <she was doing easily 20 over the limit>. Wish I'd been in a rental....

Finally was on MSN at the same time as the folks here, which got my "unable to log in" problem I've been having for the last four days fixed in about 2 minutes.

Drove home through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and then into NJ. Have I mentioned that Route 81 was a BAD idea?

Quit my contractor job, once and for all.

Went to work for what I thought would be at least six hours, but turned out to be two. Realized that with all the coffee I drank beforehand I would NEVER get any sleep, so went to the bar and got well and truly drunk.

Now thinking about bed, as it's 3:50am. Not convinced I can sleep yet, but typing has become a challenge.

Woke up, looked in younger daughters bedroom... wondered if a small tornado landed in there whilst I was away.

Going to type up yesterday's meeting minutes. Was a bugger too.

Been a busy day!

Went shoe shopping in true bloke style (35 mins from leaving the house to returning).

Washed both cars.

Fixed the garden fence.

Sorted out and disposed of a load of clothes I'll never fit in again.

Now for a trip to the chippie and an evening's gaming.

Lovely day in the City so sat outside a bar near the London Eye (which is on the bank of the Thames river)

I finally fixed Zone Alarm to allow Internet Connection Sharing.

Went landscape shopping with HK, bought some flowers, bushes and veg plants.

Finish up user authentication for my blog. All that is left is an Admin page. And got ready for my pool party.

A swift shopping trip with the Mrs (like TGM, I got a pair of shoes and was done with the looking, trying on and buying in 10mins)

Mowed lawns and trimmed foliage...including bush trimming!!!

New HDD, RAM upgrade, clean up and fresh XP install on my wee sisters machine.

Sorted out my season ticket for next footie season....it's starting to get expensive!!

Just starting to relax with a few beers and stuff......

Washed the screens and some of the windows in preparation for putting screens instead of storms on the house.

Started the converastion with mom where I try to convince her that it doesn't matter what lawn service costs, I can afford to pay for it, and it'll be better than her fighting with the lawnmower (uneven ground + push mower + bad knees = BAD) or me trying to find enough time off when it's daytime and not raining to do it.

Listened to her complain about her mother. *sigh*

Now hiding in the office doing "work" until it's time to make lunch.

Took my oldest to his first movie. Cliffords big adventure.

Discovered there is no hiding, and spent some time on a ladder putting up eaves troughs.

Good thing, too...the sun just went away and I'm hearing rumbling in the distance. At least now we can enter and exit the house without getting dripped on!

So far - nothing constructive.

Going over to a friend's house to watch the race tonight.
