Got woken up by the phone at 10 am, groaned, talked for an hour, went out for brunch, went to the bank...wondered how what was supposed to be a night out for coffee ended up getting me home at 4:15 in the morning icon_cry.gif

You did it wrong.

You're supposed to start off with a brand new box of golf balls, and a 12-pack in the cooler. When you hit the last hole, you should only have one ball and one beer left. Those pesky numbers are irrelevant. THAT'S how you win at Golf. icon_biggrin.gif

So far - I've stuffed down breakfast, and am soon heading out to the Auto Hobby Shop to take apart a Jeep axle. Try and contain your awe and envy over my upcoming project - removing the 10-inchers, and putting 11" brakes on the Jeep.

I know, I know... I should have local news coverage or something. But I'll be OK - I don't need the publicity.

The first time I don't have to drive home afterward, I'll try your method. Sounds more fun than mine! thumbup1.gif

I'll continue with the lake balls though, cheaper and they already know where to go...

Went to work, did a loadin, came home.

Now debating if I feel like cooking or if I just want to make something from a box or spaghetti or something else equally unappetizing but easy.

Hoping to take a nap before heading back to work.

Spent my nap time talking on the phone with my best friend. Which is cool, since we haven't had time to talk in almost a month...but now I'm afraid I'm gonna drag a$$ all night at work. *sigh*

Actually finished Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic after a semester long break from it. Damn good game that was. I just wish I would have spent more time talking to the characters in my party or playing pazaak or any of the other mini games. Still I'm looking forward to KoToR 2.

Succeeded in the self-fulfilling prophecy of drag-a$$ at work.

Stopped at Arby's on the way home, ate, took out the trash. Now hoping I stay awake long enough to browse various forums and put some news up before sleeping until I can't tomorrow for MY weekend.

Currently sitting in the garden, enjoying the nice weather while I work.

Went back and forth about buying Jerry Seinfeld tickets and decided not to get them.
Realised I should have brought a jacket or a sweater...going to a cold computer lab soon for a meeting...
Felix4067
Just got all the stuff together so I could put up window screens (ladder, squeegee, pail of soapy water, boom box with Buffett CD) since it hadn't rained yet...and the skies opened up. Complete with a severe thunderstorm warning. Not that I exactly needed the warning, it was fairly obvious by the black sky, thunder and lightning.

Came in here to waste some time instead...and now it's sunny, although still raining. I give up.
Jason
Worked all day and constantly looking out the window at how nice the weather was icon_frown.gif

My internship making ASP.NET pages to interact with a database.

I think I impressed them today. They gave me a project with 4 parts today and hoped that over 3 months we could get 2 or 3 projects like that done.

I'm all ready halfway done. It's just like my blog software. I think they were happy.

So that's what I did today.

Pretty much sat on me arse today, while getting paid. The Government insists on certain things being done before I can start really working. Since they've already put my on the payroll, I have no choice but to sit around and wait for them to get the rest of their ducks in a row.
Bubba
Went around town and applied for a few jobs.
Felix4067
Finished the main part of pillow #3 in the 5-pillow project for my nieces' and nephew's Christmas presents, and started on #4. Got an email that the 5th one shipped today. Which means, if all goes well, I should have them all done by the end of next week (I'm working, but it's a slow show and I'll have plenty of time to work on them).

Watched some TV for once...I tend to catch all of the season finales of some really good shows, but having missed the bulk of the season they aren't as meaningful for me.

Watched a KILLER thunderstorm for about 2 1/2 hours. Wish I'd been able to get some lightning pics, it was really cool. Rain so hard at times I couldn't actually see past the eaves of the house.

Edit:
Well, shoot...I was going to go to bed, but the lightning and thunder just started up again. Might be a night to sleep on the front porch... yes.gif cocky.gif

so far, not a lot. But it is only 9am

Finishing off whatever left of the Assignment.....so am looking forward to rest....just zippping it into a zip folder for sending it off to the Open University.

Son: "Happyyyy Birf-Day, Daddy!!!!"

Looked at my watch, oh yeah... so it is.
