Worked, went swimming, posted. Getting ready to play some ps2 with what little time left I have today.

Got irritated. Went to the bar to wear it off. Got further irritated because the underserving stupid b*tch was managing rather than my bartender (who should've been there, according to his schedule). Waited ten minutes AT THE BAR for her to serve me, then had to explain to her that there was such a thing as a basket of fries rather than the side order she brought me, then had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes before I got a 2nd drink, and a minimum of 15 minutes before I got a third.

Told her I was done and wanted my check.....and 45 minutes went by. Tipped her NOTHING.

Will be filing a complaint with the owner tomorrow. She's useless, a worthless server, a worse bartender, and makes a pile of sand look intelligent.

Went to work and sort few job and set up the storage server that co-worker hadn't bother to set it up right. Then transfer the drivers over to the said storage....

Got up at 3:45 just to wish someone a bon voyage. Went back to bed, got up at 6:00. Eyeing the bed with love. Sigh. Work work and more work today. High of 72F with clear skies. Light wind. And now that things are blooming, expect a lot of sneezing from Winnipeg. Even with the allergy meds in effect.

Got up and made lunch for everyone. Took boys to daycare. Now shower and stuff around the house.

Still transfering the software with odd or two jobs in between!

Got up early and went to babysit my friend's 9-month-old while she did a radio interview for our Festival of the Arts (she's one of the co-chairs of the whole thing this year).

Did a small amount of grocery shopping.

Told one of my coworkers I was going to work from home since I needed to be available on my cell for the guy to call me <we work ni an RF-secure area, thus no phones>. Received a call about 4 hours later that he'd not get to me today. At 7pm. Gee, no shit?!!?!? Can't get with me about the problem until Friday.

Toshiba is going to get a nastygram on this one, to be sure.

The bitch of it is-- I HAVE the parts, and the expertise to install them! However, if I do, since I'm obviously a mouth-breathing imbecile who'd fuck up my laptop, I void the warranty. Don't want to explain that one to my boss, so I am dead in the water at work til Friday.

- got all but the last load of stuff from the apartment, and making progress on cleaning the apartment <which is asinine since they're just going to gut it and refit it for the first time in it's 40+ years, anyway~> and finding space for everything. Think this weekend will be taken up with building shelves in my shed in the back yard. 2X4's with hurricane tabs ought to be stout enough....

After work, I went for a long run And then had dinner and did some shopping!!

Chose to nap during the downpour, as it was very soothing without thunder or lightning.

Came home, now attempting to unwind before the insane hell volunteer work starts tomorrow.

Went and saw Shrek 2 with my parents. It was funny at times, but not quite as good as the first one. Antonio Banderas did put in a pretty good performance, though.

Did an 11-hour loadin for six stages. Was thrilled to death that it only took 11 hours this year, since I had help, as opposed to last year when I had no help and it took 15 hours.

Got my first sunburn of the year, but only on my lower arms.

Went to work not before ringing the Disabled Office to make an enquiry as why I was turn down on the application and got a letter stating that I am not disabled enough.....what more do they want me to do...fake a limp? Come on....so starting making an appeal process!

Went to work and forgot the pass and had to wait for someone to let me in and he was taking it easy as to let me in. Almost kill him on the spot....but decide to cursed instead! Then log on.....

XBox has been a bit neglected, we have Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Artic Thunder, Lord of the Rings and another title I can't remember.

Owning all 3 consoles is tougher than I thought.

Try Disgaea for the ps2 if you like strategy RPGs. It's kinda like watching a cartoon between levels and the game play is very deep.

Playing Jak and Daxter... pretty cool.
