Had a job interview with Home Depot. It seemed to go well. I met with the HR person after. She said I wouldnt have met with her if the manager didnt like me. I go back tomorrow for another interview. They are looking to put me in the hardware section. Guess I will learn some stuff.

I called my telephone service provider this morning to get my bill cleared up. Turns out my 500 free Canadian calling minutes per month were for only 6 months.

I got my newspaper today, too If I hadn't, I would've called the subscription dude.

I've done some packing at the office. I'm moving cubes tomorrow!! Must clean the filth at some point.

I felt like travelling today and headed west out of the city. I ended up at two different relatives farms and had nice visits. My cousin Rick still tells great stories about golfing. A reall charactor.
My other cousin Kevin gave me a tour of their grass seed farm. Their major market is in the midwestern to western Unitied States. They grow 16 different types of grass to produce seed.

Oh how exciting to talk about Grass.....was it greener on the other side?

I had school today as i am a student It was so hot today (for nova scotia) a friend and I went for a swim. Lucky enough we we out and home when a thunder storm moved in

Moved 18,000 lbs (45 400 pounders) of old steel desks over to a reclamation facility. And I'm wiped out.

Mom and I went to my niece's house for dinner. Can I even begin to explain how weird it is that she has her own house, and can cook? I mean...dayum. That makes me old!!!!

After that, wandered down to the bar to get rid of the angst I came home from the doctor with. Stupidity abounded there today. Didn't drink nearly as much as I had opportunity for, but did discover they've finally started carrying Harp again, so I can be happy.

Heh! Got to work a wee bit late as couldn't remember as where I put down my house key.....searching high and low......and found it in the shopping plastic bag in the corner.....look at Harvey....he look back with a halo shinning.....

But then before that he jumped and attacked me......got four teeth marks on my fist! Tha boy need a hanging by his tail one day! He's lucky that I still love him after all this and previous marlarky!

Got ot work, log on and there is load of virus going round on internal email!! Niccccce!

I sincerely hope today is a better day than the last 5. Mowed part of Mom's lawn last night and now my ankle is screaming again. Montytw (Aladoc) thinks it's a grade two sprain. Purple, blue, green and red right into the toes. Nice colours though.

Picked up my new Ipaq and spent the day setting it up/playing with it. Did a spot of work as well.

Contract negotiation. Followed by MUCH reweriting of proposals. Followed by more negotiation. Followed by MUCH rewriting of proposals. Followed by consultation with the lawyer. Followed by...you guessed it...more negotiation and rewriting of proposals.

My brain is mush.

Came home from an interesting meeting but not before having a meal with my friend who kindly gave me a lift into City (Downtown for those loonies across the pond) for the meeting.

Then retire to the snoozeland...

Went to the Expos-Royals double-header today with my dad. It was the first time I've seen the Expos play in person which was awesome. What made it better was that the Expos won both games.

Awoke, showered, went to work, not done any so far though

TRIED to go to the office to cover phones. Apparently, they forgot I don't have keys, since no one was there. I waited for a half hour, paged one guy, and then left a note on the door. Best I could do.

Now wondering what to do with my "day off", being that it's raining cats and dogs. I suppose I could clean the house and do the dishes or something...

Off to the pet store for cat grub, grocery store for what passes as human food, though at the prices only the higher Gods can afford it. And general swanning about. Hoping that the gas prices come down again also.

Worked on an application I'm developing and wrote up some notes on my IT strategy.

Am now considering what to eat.

Got home quite late and start sorting out my apartment as it contains too many little people.......and managed to get some stuff back and make some note as to scrape the little people off my Doc Marten Shoe!

Made it to the office at noon (there was finally someone there to let me in). The phone only rang a few times, but I got MAJOR amounts of filing done. I think they knew I was gonna go organizational on them.

Kinda cross that I'm getting paid for three less hours purely because I don't have a key, though...I suspect I'll be getting one in relatively short order. I have keys to the rest of the building because the union label office is downstairs, just not our union office proper.

Spent four hours in meetings, came out of most of them with more damn work, and not enough time to do them, because of the meetings....

Finished my first iteration of my second project at work. That was actually fun. Then I worked on going through the test plan for my first finished project. See sig for details.

Went with an on-line photo site. They have a 30 day trial. Going to try it for our big photo shoot this next week.

Had some take out Thai.

Now I need to charge some camera batteries and then read in bed.

Discovered I have an email address at the union office, and apparently (judging by the earliest dated mail) have had since February. Who knew?

Spent about 45 minutes cleaning out said emailbox.

Wished slow and painful death upon self-taught IT guys who can give everyone an email account even if they don't want it, but can't click the damn box to enable my VPN.

Wanted to sell stuff on ebay........ran out of time. Tried to list my brand new web site on search engines............. not sure if it worked or not.........it still doesn't show up when I search?!!......Did some landscaping on my lawn and drank a couple of beers. Other than that.........a very unsuccessful day!

Woken up and start the day..............

I may get some work and hours in today if it doesn't start raining. I am hopeful that the rain will hold off at least for a while.

Doing some of the housework chores

Waded through the mountain of papers that has accumulated next to my chair in the living room, threw out a bunch, shredded a bunch, and filed the rest.
