I got off work at 8am, slept for 3 hours, picked up the kids and am now back at work.


A couple more shifts like this and it will be a nice shiney new 9800pro in my computer.

I quit my job today after I accepted a promotion 2 weeks ago and will be running my own (£1.25m per year) branch from now on and I intend to make a whole lot of changes......yeehaa....fuck 'em all.

As from Monday, I AM the boss and my little head is going to explode.

Studied an ASP.NET book that I bought rashly a few days ago in preparation for a large group project and realized that I don't like examples in Visual Basic at all. So I researched books that have examples in C# because in .NET you can write your scripts in C#. Since C# is close to the language I already know (C++) I'm very happy. I could spank myself! Now I just need a book that doesn't treat me like a baby and gets right to the nitty gritty stuff.

I changed the oil in the Jeep, installed a new headlight dimmer switch (one of the old school foot-peg type switches), and found out I just have to live with the lifter noise untl the 360's ready.

Woke at 1AM, got out of bed at 2:45AM, did some work on income taxes, posted some here, played Neverwinter nights.

Played tech support over the phone for a friend who needed help importing his e-mail, address book, and favorites from Win98SE to XP Pro. He's promised me his old (better than mine) flatbed scanner and inkjet printer when he gets his new all-in-one unit.

Went to Office Depot and found some adhesive back glossy laserjet paper for my decals on the NASCAR computer.

Then went to Hastings and picked up some items: Maximum PC Ultimate PC Survival Guide, Red Hat Fedora Companion (with Core Release of Red Hat Fedora inside), a PC Modder magazine (which sucked), and Need For Speed Underground.

Then came home and played around on the 'net looking for Jeep parts and bought some billet aluminum knobs for the dashboard.

Had some awesome pot roast and made an apple crisp (w/vanilla ice cream a la mode) and watched 'ShowTime' during dinner, and 'Gone in 60 Seconds' afterwards.

Iffy and Affy about whether to change the layout of my computer desk but it good thing that Harvey kept distracting me from such task!

Woke at 7:30, at the supermarket by 8:00 and home by 9:30... just listening to KNAC.com.

Well, today, I strolled into work before 9 am!!! I did some stretching this morning when I woke up, too. My back is very achy these days

I took my little kitty in to get declawed ( ) and spaded. I don't really want to declaw her but every time I pick her up she proceeds to destroy whatever I'm wearing. Plus I can't let her inside the house until she's declawed.

you know you can get the tendends or some thing like that cut with a laser... its nicer for the cat.... you don't end up cutting off there nuckels...

I didn't really do anything today, but last night I went to see Opeth in Lawrence, KS with a couple friends.

Stayed up and helped the "drywall dude". Now back to work with a whopping 2 hours of sleep.

Found out one of my morning classes was canceled because the teacher didn't want to drive in so I skipped my other morning class. Then later found out that all my afternoon and evening classes had been canceled as well. So now I'm working on implementing a blaster clone in director 8.
