Determined that I should get a wireless ergonomic keyboard. I hope there are ones out there that are as good as the wired one that I'm typing on. This rascal has really done some yeoman's service as it is the original keyboard that I got with my first computer in June 1996. PC Concepts 109 Wave Touch keyboard. Has a built in touchpad, which is defeatable. Still as solid as the day I bought it. I wouldn't type on anything other than a ergo keyboard as it is so much easier on my shoulders/traps.

It surely is...once you get over the scared-to-death part!

Today I slept until 7:25 and still had time to take a shower before getting to work at 8am. I love having keys to his apartment, even if he isn't home right now.

Worked the first half of the day at one venue, ran some errands, now I'm at work doing our first arena football game of the season. Gotta love wireless internet for free.

Was outside about 12:30 am, checking out light for people to walk safely over some new construction. The concrete was uneven where I stepped off, got out of balance, and ended up embracing a potted plant-broke arm above wrist. So, ended up building a complete new redwood deck over this evil step-looks great, and hand is much better-still requires about a few more weeks of therapy in terms of gaining full use. Thanks for the concern.

Found out that I am about to become a very busy man. I am a shared employee between several departments, now they are all trying to 'decide' where I work the most so they can distribute my FTE's. So all that means is that I will have all my current responsibilities, plus each new department will want their pound of flesh.
This could be interesting.

actually it's more an issue of the cell tower minders.
I recently drove cross-country, from Redding CA to Roanoke VA to help a friend move his family. While doing so, my phone automatically changed the time anytime I turned it on in a new time zone or crossed over into a new zone with the phone on.
I noticed that our local provider hasn't updated the tower with the new zone info yet. amateurs.

both very nice bikes....
here's mine:

before mods. (colormatched the midfairing, installed rear handles, installed some colormatched reflective tape on the frame and front fender, reflective red rim stripes, and different grips). My mods have only been for comfort and conspicuity.

30 years ago i was doing that shit , seems dumb today and we did it with harleys the worst handling bike out there!
burntkat
Mar 12 2007, 10:39 PM
well at least you're man enough to admit that about Harleys

personally-- you couldn't give me a Harley. I can get twice the bike for half the price, and it'll go 4 times as long on no maintenance other than oil and fuel.
Got a HUGE crush on the Kawa Mean Streak and the Boulevard M109R. :woof:
The bike I have is only a 68HP parallel twin-- but it's more than enough to scare the hell out of me.
Will likely be adding another bike to the garage soon-- a 98 KLR650 dualsport. Wife is likely to freak, but that's why I'm buying her a 52" bigscreen first, and doing our floors.

I'm getting this bike with a blown head for $500 if all goes well. I'll tell her it was given to me for an old computer.

Jaysus, Joseph and Mary. I just knew that wasn't going to end well. I'm glad that no one was seriously injured. I had an '83 Suzuki Savage. 650CC. My first bike, but it won't be my last. That video reminds of the one that was floating around about 4 years ago of the guy outside of Toronto on the Hayabusa where the nutbar did a wheelie up to approximately 150mph and then took it up to about 310kph or 195mph on a regular highway. That was scary as hell as he had a helmet mounted camera. Fricking loon.
Link to Hayabusa vids but not the one of which I spoke.
