34MPG? I get near twice that.

also have a nice fat powerband and plenty of off-the-line power.

Put some GenMar handlebar risers on my 650r last night when I got home from work. OMG! TOTALLY different bike, much more comfortable now! I'm actually looking forward to the 400 mile trip I'll be taking in a few months to go see my buddy (and get my diesel engines from Buffalo!

)
stopped in the local computer store, bought a TV tuner card and a new video card (dual head, with DVI output. nice....) Saw a liquid cooling kit for $150.. VERY tempting.. because it's very quiet......

Just a thought of how many would actually know who this comedian was-not around for a few decades. More of a spontaneous response to 'Ah-cha' ending above.

I did not one thing, and it was fabulous.

A little odd, since I've been home since I got home from work last night, but the boy was working 18-20 hours today so I was on my own. Does me good to spend
some time at the place where I actually live, I guess.

Thus far, SFA. However, I did send out a good email to all my family and friends, regarding what to do if you have a heart attack while alone. A great friend sent it to me. Bless him.

damnit, I always get those two confused...
-checked my mail a few minutes ago. some assclown had put a flyer for pressurewashing INSIDE the mailbox.
INSIDE.
annoying enough they keep putting cards and crap on my mailbox, or stapling to the post (I swear, if I find someone who does that, I'm stapling their flyer to their scrotum, or labia. no matter). But putting things inside the mailbox is a federal offense- not to mention makes one have to wonder what else they might be doing while in there.

Worked on a few computers at work-fortunately, one just needed to be plugged in the wall! Sometimes the cleaning crew is carried away using floor polishers that like to eat electrical cords!

Ah, crap. One of the exams in the M.S. (Microsoft courses) had a question about the server and the cleaning staff. Having watched cleaning crews do their work, I got that question right.

Did use a few computers from work to see if they worked! All the same model Dell. All different speeds, and with problems from different bugs, hackers, and pop ups. There are some various protection efforts going on here to help with this problem. That is, where computer screening filters have been added in some stepped fashion. Unfortunately (have been told by maintenance crew) this intervention presently will almost certainly slow down a machine, than make it faster at times.

Finished a great book: The Apocalypse Stone by Pete Earley. Very very good book, points out some interesting things from the bible, the Catholic church, history and religion. Well worth the time to read it. Funny how it worked out and that I finished it on Easter Sunday.

Not a big deal, that. I was gonna rip out all the Jeep crap and put a REAL engine in there... V8 diesel, 700R4, and a GM 231 tcase...

now, if Buffalo NY would ever thaw the hell out, I could get on task!
