went shooting yesterday. 9mm handgun, 15 meterss. 117 out of 120 points. Been wondering why my rounds were striking about 4" low. Turns out the factory sets the sights up for 25m, so that's probably the answer. So now I need to work on my groups more. Part of that might actually be the ammo I've been using, so I'll see about ordering in a couple hundred rounds of hollowpoints.

Yup. I did yesterday and today.
However, no snow yesterday and probably won't snow until this evening or during the night.
Therefore I did about of comp maintenance: updated all my anti-virus, anti-spyware, Ad-Aware. CWShredder, and Spyware Vanisher files. I did a defrag on both drives (3 partitions) and ran all a.v./spyware programs AFTER I defragged. Cleaned of excess clutter from all partitions before doing the aforesaid processes. No use defragging what you're going to toss. I also used a series of twist ties to secure the k.b. cable and USB cable that run to the back of my comp table and down to my computer back where they are plugged in. The annoyance with the k.b. cable is that it is rather on the inflexible side and butts up against the base of my LCD. Because the base has a lip at the top, the cable won't ride up and over the base and therefore limits the distance I can slide the k.b. toward myself when I want to lean back in my chair and type. Not any more. I tied in the USB cable with the k.b. cable so it is slightly more organized. C'est fini.

Changed pillow cases, made bed, cleaned kitty litter and surrounding area, did dishes, took all my vit/minerals, meds, cleaned counter and stove top, cleaned and re-organized my "Buddhist" table, moved an end table to the front hall (which now goes over top of my winter boots making the closet looks more organized and also is a resting place for my dirty laundry bag before taking downstairs.) closet which precipitated a move of my laptop carrying case and two other cases underneath to the rear of my Buddhist table.
Stashed my golf clubs in the closable front hall closet (not the main one), I've laid out my "outdoor" clothes for later on, organized my personal grooming implements and I am just about to shave, shower and have the rest of my breakfast. Played with Bea Shady also. That is always fun. She is such a charactor. Funny thing with cats (and probably dogs also) the toys I buy for her and mostly played with a couple of times and neglected but the ones I "make" for her seem to always be in use.

Short 3 mile run today. Wayyyy to cold to do anything else. Yes say what you will about me, im a wimp when it comes to the cold. But im ok with it! LOL
Today im probably going to clean up the loft, and move some stuff around. I need to check all the rigs to make sure they are squared away. Maybe do a big company bbq. Im ready for the end of the month so i can go on my cruise.
I decided to take my mom and grandfather on a cruise this year. It was really my mom's idea, she bugged me all year. But the more I thought about it the better of an idea came to sound.

Peap .... Few ways to go, a sandwich, or just a pile of food like the post represented. It is easy to say, to get about 200 hundred burgers (about a pound or so each) with mayo and bread. The trick would be to make a sandwich. Big ones have been made in the past .... like you may know about 20 feet long-some of them. Yet, some monsters perhaps at about a hundred feet. Anyway, check out the calories link below, and it should give you an idea of what it really takes-may prove surprising! Good luck.

Everything makes me hungry in theory except my 3x daily meds. Those suppress my appetite until about 9 P.M. Then I'm ravenous. No wonder I have a wee gut.

Had a brutal night at work. We had problems where there was over 2000!! ppm of CO. That's really bad lol. Along with other related problems with shutting down a Blast Furnace for 24 hours and finding out there was a water leak inside the whole time. Oh well, no one got hurt and that's always our goal.

seem to have developed a nasty habit-
woke up at 0400 every morning for the last 4 days. This must stop. I've also been going to bed round 2100. WTF?
Rode to work today in 30 degree weather. Same gear I always wear- armored mesh jacket, leather gauntlets, boots and BDU pants. Added a fleece pully for the weather, and a fleece headsock as a "gasket" between the helmet and jacket to prevent cold air blasting on my neck.

Congratulations bull ... test is not a cake walk! After reading about you guys doing snow with shovel action, am more than thankful here. Although, rain is predicted for about all this week-problem now is in the landslide areas where the recent fire took most of the underpinning structure away-so, there may be a few slip and slide houses moving about.
