First, I'm sorry if this post belongs somewhere else.
Okay here's the deal, I'm pretending to build a computer for a class I'm taking. I chose my case and all that good stuff. Went to choose the motherboard and noticed this spec listed in the case specs: M/B Form Factor: A/B/C/M (P4 ready)
I'm not sure what this means and how it affects, if at all the board I choose. From what I got from trying to research is that it might be something to do with the type/style of the board. (please forgive if I'm not using the right terms, I'm just learning)
So what I want to know is does this affect the board I choose and how?
For reference these are the specs listed with the case:
Specifications:
Drive Space:
5.25” Drive: 4
3.5” FDD (External): 2
3.5” HDD (Internal): 4
M/B Form Factor: A/B/C/M (P4 ready)
Add on Card Space: 7
P.S.U. Type: AT/ATX/PS3
Fan Space (Front, Rear): 12cmx1, 8cmx2
Thanks

*Edit - Also if someone could give me an idea (point me in the direction) of a good board that basically only comes with the CPU that would be excellent. Part of the project is it can't have onboard components such as the video, sound, network cards, etc.
