I was browsing the Open Uinversity for some information when I come upon this:

Language
All courses are taught in English, and your spoken and written English must be of adequate standard for undergraduate or postgraduate study, whichever you intend to undertake. If English is not your first language you can get information from the Open University in the North about assessing your English language skills in relation to your proposed studies. See the 'Contact the OU' link on the left for telephone numbers and addresses.

Right On. If not happy find the same thing in the language of your choice. I am sure if your language is so great, what you want will be supported.
